Clash of the Titans. Improving communication between Vendors and Vendor Managers
Have you ever wondered what makes a successful Vendor Manager? On the other hand, can you guess what makes a Vendor want to work with your company?
This is a question for which we want an answer, so we plan to conduct research on a group of European Language Service Providers, and then present a case study focused on one client, who may join us in presenting.
Using our direct access at XTRF to Vendor Managers, Project Managers, and their Vendors, we will dig down into the very foundation of the communication and cooperation between them.
We believe that by studying their different perspectives, we can gain insights on all sides’ needs and understand what drives them in their daily work. We will then be able to see clearly what makes their cooperation successful and what only seems to do so.
One of the areas we want to look at is regarding repeatedly assigning the same Vendors. If we remove the technical and time constraints, what then is the main fear in delegating work to new providers?
We want to know what a Vendor needs to do to be successful at what they do, and we would like to share this with the attendees of Meet Central Europe in Prague.
